Some Wedding Favorites(20)
This was one cool little guy! He had a bunch of groomsmen up behind me kind of egging him on and he really hammed it up for the camera.
I was so excited to be invited to photograph a wedding on top of a ski resort. We were at Schweitzer Mountain in Sand Point, ID. Gorgeous wedding, very much with nature it was so cool.
I love this photo. This bride worked hard to find places she loved and wanted photos taken well before the wedding. It really paid off in the end. We took a ton of great photos at this location.
A great exit to a great day.
Another classic wedding moment that makes what I do so awesome. This father of the bride was a very cool, kind of tough guy but melted to butter just before his daughter walked down the isle.
A little celebration in the sunset after the end of the wedding day!
I love this photo, probably my favorite I've ever taken at a wedding. I know it's probably not the most lavish photo but it was such a pure moment of anticipation and happiness. The bride was just told it's time to walk down the isle. This to me is what I love most about photographing weddings.
A grand entrance to a beautiful outdoor wedding.
Is this little girl cute or what? If you look closely in her pink sash you'll see a little Pokeman guy. She hid that little thing in every photo I took all day and night. At the end of the night I got a great shot of her passed out on a couch. It's fun to watch the little kids go 100 mph at weddings and just finally crash at the end.
These guys had such a cool wedding. The first part was very formal in this huge beautiful cathedral. The second part was a really fun country western themed party that even had a mechanical bull!
To me the photographs are all about the expressions and emotions they both capture and create. This is the mother of a bride, dancing with her husband watching her daughter and new son-in-law. I love the look in her eyes.
There is nothing more refreshing on a hot summer day when the reception is outside and the sun goes down. You know that great soft feel of the breeze, with summer grass smells in the air? I love it!
A bride and her little sister. I have a whole series of them dancing together that is really special.
A really fun couple from last summer, this is on the Seattle University Campus where they both graduated from.
Grandpa helping out. Love it!
FUN! This bride led the train of people around the reception, there was probably over 100 people up dancing. I love my job....
Some guys really don't want me to get photos of them before the wedding. To me it creates a lopsided view of the day. The bride and groom getting ready and being with close friends is an important part in the story of the day.
One of the many lovely brides I've been so fortunate to work with. This wedding was in Kauai, and this was just moments before the ceremony. Sitting just inside the door way like this gives the most beautiful portrait light.
A beautiful bride with the sun beaming down on her durring the ceremony.
No need to explain this one... emotions and expressions.
